Google says I have many needs

I haven’t blogged in a while and I plan to post a more personal one as soon as I get my work done for college (stupid coursework). I recently came across a funny meme while I was browsing around. It’s about googling yourself (something we have all done at least once, right?).

The rules are simple. Just google your first name and the word “needs” in quotes, have a look at the first result page and add a short comment to each result. Do not click on any of the results shown, you just need to look at what comes up on the search page. It doesn’t matter if the results don’t start with word “needs”.

So here are the results for “Larissa needs”. Brace yourselves.

“Larissa needs connections! ... Okay, Larissa's a bit of a loner at the moment. She needs friends and maybe a love interest? So if any one is interested then ...”

Okay apparently I am a loner. Thanks Google for pointing that out, maybe I should just sit in a corner and cry. I have friends (some really good ones in fact) and as for the love interest I have one of those too. So before you start inviting people to a party in my pants, notify me first? Kthnx. :)

“Larissa's friends and family agree that Larissa needs a push. She is a talkative, fun, lively and attractive young woman who seems to have lost her spark. ...”

That actually makes sense. I did recently had an argument with Chris (my boyfriend) about something silly. I got upset about my college work but I feel like I have cheered up and now I can get on with my life. So in many ways I did loose my spark but I feel it is coming back now. Even if it is a little one. Also, me and Chris resolved our argument.

“Everyone Larissa Needs More Friends On Her Paqe. So Go Ahead And Add Her Now!!”

I assume that you mean I need more friends on my ‘page’ (what the hell is a “paqe”?). Tsk tsk, consult your dictionary Google. Again Google stop telling random people to add me. I am still miffed over that whole loner comment. Tread carefully.

“Larissa needs English lessons”

Considering that my first and only language is English this one made me laugh. Seriously? I need English lessons. An A-level student studying English Language needs English lessons. An A-level student who is planning on studying for an English Language degree needs English Lessons. I think Google is just determined to insult me today. Pfft.

“Mo says that Larissa isn’t so special as to be singled out”

Well singling me out would be pretty bad (seen as you told me earlier that I’m a loner and I need friends). I think I am special… Well at least Chris thinks I am. :)

“Larissa thinks she is bad but she hasn't met up with someone who eats her type for breakfast. Larissa needs to meet up with someone like me”

Slow down there Google, let’s not get too fired up okay?

I think I am bad. In what way exactly? Like in a “Hey I’m a badass” kind of way or in a “I just ate the last cookie” kind of way. I’m guessing its the first one.

Well I would say that Chris would beg to differ with what you’re saying. Not that he eats me for breakfast. I’m high in sugar so I wouldn’t be good for an athletic person like him.

I understand you have feelings for me Google as I have used you to search everyday but that's it. That’s all our relationship is based on. I use you for a search tool, just accept it.

“I think Larissa is trying to be the new New York but there can only be one B*tch on VH1”

I guess I can get pretty competitive huh? I was sure no one could see through my plan to be the new New York. I mean it’s always been my goal to be a city. Maybe I should have aimed for something smaller like a town. Hey Google if you want to be a bitch then that’s fine by me, I won’t stand in your way. I’ll just be the cute one. :)

I know I am. I cherish the friends I have because they support me, make me laugh and are there for me when I am down. In fact if it wasn’t for my friends I don’t know what I would do. As you may know, Shola is my best friend. :)
