Windows Live Writer

I just updated my Windows Live Messenger to the new version and it is pretty cool if I do say so myself. I also downloaded this program they had called Windows Live Writer. It allows you to post to your blog from a program that runs on your computer. So far it has been easy to use.

You can uploaded images and add effects to them too. On the left I have put up a screenshot of the software with the reflection effect on it.

The colour scheme has been set by me to pink but you can change it to any colour scheme you want to suit your tastes.

I don’t know if I will be using this program over Blogger as I am still trying it out. But so far it has really impressed me. To say it is a free program it isn’t that bad.

Another good thing about this program is that any pictures you upload to it automatically get hosted in your Picasa web albums.

You also can install cool add-ons for it, I’ve added a Flickr add-on. Which allows me to upload images from my Flickr account or other accounts right to my blog post.

When you are post your blog you can actually preview you blog in your blogs layout made by you. Basically you can preview the post exactly as it will be displayed on the web.

There are many other features of this program but I think for now I will leave it to you to decide what you think of it.
