Valentines Day Fun!

Happy Belated Valentines Day! I hope you all had a brilliant day and got loads of chocolates.
I went out with Chris to the cinema and we watched "The curious case of Benjamin Button". It's a good film and it was quite romantic being all snuggled up together watching it. Imagine this typical kind of scene: girl leaning on boy's shoulder, looking into each others eyes, a lot of "I'm so happy right now" faces. Yeah, it was bliss.
I suppose the only thing that ruined it was my bladder. The film was 3 hours long and I'd drank Coke. A lot of Coke. It got to this one scene where water was gushing in all over the floor. Cool, running water. Chris glanced and me and looked quite concerned. I was squirming around like a five year old. I whispered under my breath, "I need to pee" and he tried not to laugh. It was my fault for drinking a lot and Chris just found it highly amusing.
I managed to hold it and we both staggered out of the cinema after the film complaining about how our legs felt numb. Seriously, three hours sat down is no joke. The film was great . It made me tear up in some parts so be warned; if you don't like sad films then don't go and see it.
Chris got me a card for Valentines Day too, it was really sweet of him. This is how our conversation went when he gave it to me:
Chris: This is for you.. (he hands me the card)
Me: Aw thank you! You shouldn't have.. (opens card, laughs at the verse written inside)
Chris: Haha! I knew you'd like it.
Me: I wish I'd got you something now.. but I thought you were like me and didn't buy into all this gimmicky kind of stuff...
Chris: Well.. Valentines Day is for guys anyway.... to express how they feel to their girlfriends.. (blushing)
Me: (Kisses on cheek) Hehehe, thank you.
I honestly thought we were not going to get each other anything but he went out of his way and bought me a card and wrote a nice message inside.
It made me forget for a moment about how Valentines Day is so commercialized and made me think of all the good things about my relationship with Chris. It made me think about how happy he makes me feel and that he always makes me laugh.
I agree with people that you cannot put a price on love but when your partner makes you something or treats you to something silly (like a chocolate bar) it makes you think about how they can make you happy with even the smallest gesture. :)
I promise to not bore you with any more mushyness now! But yeah, I'm young and in love.
Today has been quite uneventful for me. I've been playing on my GameBoy on this game called "Hamtaro: Ham Ham Heartbreak". It's about little Hamsters that are falling out of love and you have to rescue their love for each other. All together now! Awwww. :)
I've decided to video cover the game as a sort of little walk through to test out this recording software I have.

Cute isn't it? Well Aside from Hamtaro's weird squeak. :/
Well look out for more cute gaming videos because I made a YouTube channel specifically for my gaming addiction.

1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
Bye for now

My V-day was like any other v-day. Work, then home for a movie marathon. :)
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
Sonic unleashed at the moment but I am flippin' stuck, damn these water levels!!
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
Everyone needs to be emotional every now and again. Plus it's a PERSONAL blog, it has to be personal or there is no point is there? :D
xx
OMG LARISSA.. last time I couldn't comment because this box didn't come up T_T
Anyway I'm sorry if you thought I was ignoring you.. I wasn't! I tweeted you to tell you I couldn't comment.. don't know if you got it lol.
Happy belated birthday (now that I can comment!)!! I saw the same movie with James but earlier on in the year :P. I LOVE that movie. It sucks that you needed to pee. I was watching Troy (I HATE that movie, it's so effing long) and I needed to pee and the movie was boring me so I totally got up and ran out. :D
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?

Sounds like you 2 had fun together. ;)
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?
It was great, we just had a simple dinner but that was enough for me.
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
I used to have a favourite game: MapleStory, that was last year but I've quitted games for now.
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
It wasn't. I'm sure you will be glad that you posted it when you read back a few years later. :D
Aww, this post was so cute! Not too mushy ;) It's nice to hear that some people can appreciate Valentine's Day for more than the commercialized part.
I loved The Curious Case of Benjamin Button :) Luckily I didn't need to pee while watching it, lol.
There's no such thing as too mushy for a Valentines post!!
I had a lovely dinner w/ my boy and a even nicer evening stroll after. However, I didn't get a card or anything. So i think you're very very lucky!!
Before I forget, I TOTALLY LOVE HAM HAM HEARTBREAK. Okay, enough with me being overly excited. :P
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?
Yes I did! Mike got me a box of chocolates from Mrs. Fields (cookie place), a stuffed bear and treated me to a movie (Taken). :) My mother gave me WALL-E (we always do gift exchanges to kind of have a memento of every year we've made it), an adorable card, a stuffed dog and some chocolate. Mike's mother even gave me a chocolate bar. It was really sweet. :)
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
As of right now, I have to say my favorite game is Super Paper Mario for the Wii. It's crazy addictive. :)
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
No, it wasn't. :) Reminded me of me and my boyfriend. ^_^
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun? It was good, just watching Rugby and sims though!
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it? Sims 2! It's PC, i hope that counts ^^
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! Nah, it was very nice and romantic, i'm jealous! I have nobody! Maybe one day.... <3
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?
I had an amazing Valentine's Day. I went out to dinner with my friend and then we saw Friday the 13th. It's the most fun I've had in a long time.
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
It's a tie between Chrono Trigger and Earthbound
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
It's Valentine's Day! It's not the time to tone down the mushy. lol
1) Not at all. Mostly, it's because I hate the. I guess the only thing I did that was partially fun was going to work. I got a doughnut out of it <3
2) I've never really been the gaming type. The only thing I've ever really played, aside from classic Tetris, is... Pokemon XD
3) Nah, it wasn't too bad :D I mean, it didn't make me weep, so it's good.
Hehe, what a sweet and nice boyfriend you have ^^ I can feel what you've typed x__x!! Heh, Happy Belated Valentine Day!!
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?
Nope. I'm single -_- plus that day was my school's Sports Day..
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
Yes. It should be the sims 2 I think.
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
Not really. I would not leave a comment if it's mushy :\
Haha lucky you, our summer is getting colder by the minute! It's disappearing. And autumn is coming up so I guess the layout really fits. :P
I'm not a big fan of tans, haha. I'd rather be pale. It's so odd.. I'm different. :D
1) Did you have a good Valentines Day? What did you do that was fun?
If you have read my recent blog post, you will know that I did :P
Anyway, what happened to you just proved that although girls said
that they don't mind if their significant other doesn't do
anything special on V-Day, they actually do :P
2) Do you have a favourite game? What is it?
That video was so cute! I wish I could see more of it, as in how
it is being played, etc.
I don't really have a favourite game at the moment, the one I was
crazy about last time was RockBand and SingStar
3) My blog post wasn't too mushy? Was it?! -_-
If you are writing about V-Day and not being mushy, then what can
you be?? :P Seriously though, it is a personal blog so you do have
the right to be mushy. So don't worry about it ;)
Yeah, I'm totally looking forward to uni! It's nervewracking but at the same time exciting :D. I start next Monday! Scary.
I saw James this afternoon, but the fact that he's so far away and not like.. here.. so we can talk or anything - is sad! So that's why I miss him. It's so strange. He's not even gone for long.. but ah.
Aww, it sounds like you had a really nice Valentine's day :) The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons was awfully long, and I actually found myself asking, when is the movie going to be over? I mean, it was a great movie and all, but I'm just not one for sitting down in one place for too long :/
